Happy Midsummer from us at Lindner Scandinavia!

2026-06-18We would like to take this opportunity to look back on a project we are still proud of – Sintef's headquarters in Oslo, which we completed four years ago.
The building, which dates back to the 1950s, was in dire need of renovation and our challenge was to renovate the facade while the staff continued to work inside the building throughout the project. We solved this by dismantling the external Siporex cladding but leaving all windows in place until the new facade was installed and weatherproofed.

The project was supported by Enova and we landed on a UcW value of 0.4 W/m²K – better than the passive house standard. By using the existing structure instead of demolishing and building new, Sintef also achieved enormous CO² savings.

The pictures below show what it looked like before and after.

Thank you for a wonderful collaboration SINTEF, ELEMENT arkitekter AS & Byggimpuls as and others in the project! See more pictures at our Sintef site!

Dymak receives an honorable mention!

2025-12-17Dymak, to whom we have been entrusted with delivering the facades, has now received an honorable mention in the category Company in "Årets byggeri 2025", which we are very proud of.
Årets byggeri is the Danish "Building of the Year" award and one of the most prestigious awards in the Danish construction industry and a testament to the efforts put in by us and the other stakeholders involved in the project.

In the jury's motivation, it can be read, among other things, that -"Instead of choosing the simple solution, the client has insisted on building their new headquarters with high architectural quality, documented environmental responsibility and a strong focus on employee well-being.
The result is an office building in wood and glass, where aesthetics, flexibility and certified sustainability play closely together - and where even the details are characterized by thought."

Time for Varm

2025-11-25 Now we are on site at Chalmers University of Technology and ready for an inspiring conversation with students! Feel free to stop by our stand to take a look at some of our systems, hear more about how different professional roles work together in a project – and find out what the biggest glasses at World of Volvo weigh.

You will find us in Ljusgården all day!

Module assembly underway at VCC2

2025-08-25 The first facade modules at VCC2 have now been assembled – and we can already see how beautiful the result will be. After intensive design work, it is a special feeling to see the vision take shape for real.

VCC2 is a 25,000 m2 innovation cluster that is being built to become a leading destination for mobility innovation in Torslanda. The building has a wood hybrid frame with Lindner's modular facade in glulam, which reduces the carbon footprint by 15% compared to traditional steel and concrete structures.

We are excitedly looking forward to the continued assembly and to following how the house grows, step by step.

We are very proud of the result and would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone involved for their excellent work and great collaboration.

SNM completed

2025-01-22 Time flies with many projects and a lot to do for most of us.

When you're in the middle of it, you might think it's never gone happen, but eventually the projects get completed. Sometimes it goes quickly, but other times the projects take longer time.

The Natural History Museum in Copenhagen, also our first project in Lindner Scandinavia, has now been handed over to the client.

We are very proud of the result and would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone involved for a good job and good cooperation.
