Maskrosen
Maskrosen is a former industrial building that has been transformed into 8,000 m² of modern office and laboratory spaces across three floors – tailor-made for innovative companies in the green tech sector. The building is part of Green Innovation Park at Campus Ultuna in Uppsala and is certified according to Miljöbyggnad Silver. Throughout the project, sustainability has been a guiding principle, with a focus on material reuse and a minimised carbon footprint.
At the heart of the building lie two atria that serve as shared meeting spaces. Each is crowned by an ETFE roof, whose acoustic transparency blurs the boundary between indoors and outdoors, allowing the rural surroundings to become part of the experience.
The generous glass roof acts as the building's spine – connecting its different sides while bathing the interior in natural light.
